What belongs in the collection.
We aim for short, clean wordplay that can be shared in ordinary company. The joke should make sense on its own, the punchline should be readable, and the humor should not depend on harassment, discrimination, sexual content, or humiliating a real person.
“Clean” is an editorial aim, not a promise that every family or classroom will make the same choices. Read a joke before sharing it with your group and skip anything that does not fit.
Curation is not a claim of authorship.
This library includes classic jokes and familiar wordplay. A joke appearing on several websites is not evidence that it is public domain. Attribution does not replace permission when permission is needed. When a known source or license requires credit, that credit belongs with the joke.
New or reused material should have a documented publication basis. Unclear material should be investigated, revised where appropriate, or left unpublished. The site’s maintenance workflow supports drafts and private provenance notes rather than automatically claiming every imported joke is original.
Supporting guides and AI assistance.
Some supporting editorial text, design, and code are developed with AI assistance. Generated text is a draft, not proof of originality, accuracy, or permission. Publication decisions and corrections remain the operator’s responsibility. The guides are practical suggestions for enjoying wordplay, not scientific claims about development or guaranteed outcomes.
Corrections and rights concerns.
A useful report includes the collection or guide URL, the joke ID when available, the concern, and a source or explanation we can check. Do not include children’s names, school details, or other unnecessary personal information. Use the contact page for the available reporting route.
Advertising does not decide the punchline.
This edition of the site does not serve advertising. Any future ads should be clearly separated from content and from reveal, save, share, and navigation controls. We do not ask visitors to click ads to support the site, and we do not treat advertising as an excuse to fill the library with empty pages.
